Kelaris Kemmer (47) of Ahoskie, NC departed this life on Thursday,
March 4, 2010 at Roanoke Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie, NC. He was
born on March 29, 1962 to Freddie and Eula Peterson Kemmer in
Baltimore, MD.
He was a member of New Life Community Outreach Ministry.
He leaves to mourn his memories: his parents, Freddie and Eula
Kemmer of Ahoskie, NC; (2) brothers, Darryl and Michael Kemmer of
Ahoskie, NC; (1) sister, Katrina Kemmer of Ahoskie, NC; a host of
other relatives and friends.
Services will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, 1:00 PM by Rev.
Stevie Lawrence at Hunter's Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie, NC.
Burial will be in Keemer Family Cemetery, Aulander, NC

Friday, March 5, 2010, at 10:30am at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, NY
He was born on September 7,1946 to the late Frank and Martha Gatling
He leaves to cherish his memory His wife- Erica Gatling and two
daughters-Sabrina Gatling and Alycia Gatling all of Mt. Vernon, NY.
(5) sisters Esther Cross of Gates, NC, Mary Coleman of Forrestville,
MD, Laura Stokes of Jonesboro, GA, Diane Britt of Glendale, MD and
Terry Lee of Bowie, MD. (4) brothers -Lance Gatling of Hyattsville,
MD, James Gatling of Suffolk, VA ,Tyrone Gatling and Clinton
Gatling both of Washington, DC.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 @ 1:00pm
at Stoney Branch Baptist Church. .
Burial will take place at Gatling Family Cemetery

Audrey Daphine Brown Whitaker (77) of Ahoskie, NC departed this
life on March 7, 2010 at Roanoke Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, NC.
She was born on May 7,1932 in Whitesville, NC to the late Rascoe
and Lorraine Bullock Brown.
She was a certified nurse’s aide by the Department of Commonwealth
of Virginia. He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in
Newport News, VA
She leaves to cherish her fond memories: (4) sons, Calvin Whitaker of
Newport News, VA; Alvester Whitaker, Jr. of Petersburg, VA, Nelson
Whitaker of Fresno, CA and Terry Whitaker of Ahoskie, NC. (1)
daughter Evelyn LaVern Parker Whitaker of Fresno, CA. (2) sisters,
Jewel Chisholm of South Pine, NC and Ida Mae Brown of Raleigh, NC
(8) grandchildren and (5) great grandchildren. One aunt Arvella Bullock
Best a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 1:00pm at
Hunters Funeral Home Chapel.
