Carlton "Kit" Johnson

Carlton Donnell Johnson affectionately called "Kit" of Ahoskie, NC departed this life on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at his residence. A native of Hertford Co., NC he was born on March 16, 1956, to the late James L. Johnson and Lillie Mae Lane Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, Arlethia Grover Johnson of the home; two daughters, Kendra Johnson of Atlanta, GA and Daja Johnson of Ahoskie, NC; granddaughter, Janiyah Johnson of Ahoskie, NC; two brothers, Willie Johnson (Amanda) of Windsor, NC and Larry Johnson of Pennsville, NJ; four sisters, Emma Miller of Richmond, VA, Beatrice Savage of Norfolk, VA, Essie Gibbs of Portsmouth, VA and Sharon Finney of NJ; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
