He was born on April 16, 1953 to the late Lewis Moore, Sr.and Ardell Simmons in Bertie Co., NC. He was a laborer for AT Byrum. He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Marquila Smith of Ahoskie, NC and Co-Lece Smith(Gary) of Murfreesboro, NC; one son, Davet Simmons (Sadie) of Murfreesboro, NC; four sisters, Serene Jefferson (Bill), Olivia Simmons, Diane Smallwood (George) all of Ahoskie, NC and Janice Sessoms of Harrellsville, NC; one brother, Lewis Moore, Jr. (Gwendolyn) of Ahoskie, NC; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
