A native of Bertie Co., NC she was born on Nov. 6, 1935 to the late Willie Louis Hyman and Mary Bond Hyman. She leaves to cherish her memories: (1) daughter, Sarah Artis (Herman) of Aulander, NC; (4) sons, Larry Hyman of Aulander, NC, William Demery (Barbara) of Lewiston, NC, David Demery (Gloria) of Elizabeth City, NC, and James Demery (LaLa) of Lewiston, NC; (3) sisters, Annette Outlaw of Ahoskie, NC, Naomi Pugh of VA and Otelia Lucille; (19) grandchildren; (41) great grandchildren; (11) great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
