A native of Hertford County, NC he was born on March 1, 1959 to the late Cecil Ward and Dorothy Holloman Ward. He leaves to cherish his memories, five sisters, Dorothy Newsome, Geraldine Ward, Brenda Ward all of Ahoskie, NC, Ernestine Figgs (Johnny) of Elizabeth City, NC and Phyllis Anderson of New York, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
